Hey Angela, can you develop a reading list by reading level for 2 books a six weeks for the kids (or for Madison). Is this way too craziness to accomplish? I would do it myself, but not sure where to start. Are we able to get a copy of all the books in a reading level? I guess I am looking for a ’suggested’ reading list for Madi. OK, just thought I would throw you a curve ball today… tee hee….. Gretchen Turner gave me your blog site. It is nice!
    Have a lovely day,

Amy, Great Idea. I can add that to my to do list. I am pretty sure that I can generate a list of books by level. Are you thinking about putting this in the newsletter? Why don’t we set up a time to get together and talk about what this would look like.

Hey Angela! Just checked back. I would LOVE to put it in the newsletter - don’t know if Mr. Daniels would do it, but I sure hope. It would be SUCH a help to the kids and parents!!! I can meet any time 8-11AM on any day but Tuesday. Whatever works for you. I was thinking something like:

Recommended books for each reading level:

In the 4.0-5.0 reading level, these books are recommended:
(Totally making this up, b/c I have no idea what is in this reading level)
    Cat in the Hat
    Barney
    Driving your mother crazy…

I would think if this could be done for each reading level with 20+ books in each (is that askign too much) it would get some kids started or at least give them something to look for. What do you think? Most kids’ levels overlap, so I guess they could choose from more than one category?? Not sure.

    Thanks!! Amy
