Lattice Blanket

The color doesn’t show very well in this picture, but here is the lattice blanket I’ve been working on for the baby. It is a fresh green color. Blue Sky Alpaca 100% organic yarn. I fell in love with this stitch when I saw the sample at Angel Hair Yarn. I had to pull out about 10 rows because I got off somehow and didn’t notice my mistake until 9 or 10 rows later. I had to let it rest for a few days before I could actually pull out my mistake and get started again. But I’m back on it. I took it to the ball park with me and added a few rows between watching Will bat and play the field. I can’t wait to see it finished and folded up in the nursery, but I find the knitting very relaxing. With each stitch I find myself thinking about the little one that will be cuddling up in it.
