What is better than a night out with friends? Saturday night was just that. Sandy, Andi, Lana, Nancy, Beth and I enjoyed dinner and a show. Dinner at Demos’ was a bit stressful considering we spent more time waiting to be seated than we did actually eating, but it was yummy. After a sprint to the theatre it was nice to relax in our theatre seats just in time for the house lights to dim and the show to begin.

Enid Barber, 83, one of the most distinguished educators in Humphreys County has published her autobiography COTTON FIELDS. Hers is a story of resilience. Oh, I wish I could have been there. But I’m glad y’all had fun. It’s a good thing I didn’t go b/c I’ve been sooo busy lately and I think Jeff would have divorced me if I said I was going to be gone one more night. Also, it was Natalie’s birthday and I had to make some food for church the next day and I had had class all day. Still, I know I would have had so much fun with you guys! How was the show itself?
